This lovely antique 1930s chenille bedspread offers a remarkably detailed design featuring circular moon shapes surrounded by diamond dot wedges. A memorable pattern, set on classic white cotton and accented with ornate shawl type fringe.Handtufted, this is a beautiful piece of American textile history - think of all the time someone put into this work of art.
SIZE: Standard full size. Measures approx 84"W x 94"L + 4"L accent fringe. Displayed on a twin bed in bright light to show detail and color. If you'd like to see it staged on a Full or Queen size bed, let us know.
FABRIC COMPOSITION: 100% cotton, lighter weight strong quality
CONDITION: A few minor age marks, tousled fringe. Remember that this is handmade, so various "imperfections" are a given. Unless otherwise stated, our chenille bedspreads are pre-loved, original vintage/antique, and at least 50 years old. All vintage linens show attributes such as small age spots, mends, pinholes & fabric separations, color variations, etc. Virtually all have will have a scent of some type, i.e. from storage, fabric detergents, etc.
