This little chenille jacket is a great example of a very early iconic Damze / Canyon Group design. Circa the early 1980s, the jacket features a cropped, fitted style with slight puff sleeves. The colorful, classic abstract rainbow lollipop floral design remains vibrant.A bit of history on "Damze"...In 1989, the original owners sold out to Jody and Don Chapman, who at that time updated the name to "Damze." (If you've always wondered how it's pronounced, it sounds just like the word "dames".) Eventually the company would become known as Canyon Group, and the rest is history...
Tagged (vintage) size Medium; however MUCH smaller by today's standards, and a better fit on an XS.
KEY DETAILS:
* 21" LONG // 36" BUST with panels slightly wrapped
* No front closure: no zipper, buttons, or velcro, etc.
* No pockets
* NARROW, FITTED SHOULDERS & OVERALL SILHOUETTE
* In pre-loved vintage condition, wrist elastic has long worn out; you may see some minor fabric wear (i.e. age marks, small repairs, pinholes)
