Easy to read and hard to put down. Excellent account of the times.

Hardcover with dust jacket, 350 pages, good condition. Dust jacket has small tear on upper binding side.
A detailed account of Churchill's dealing with two US Presidents: FDR and Truman. According to those who shared his presence, Churchill could often be the guest that overstayed his welcome. Eleanor was astounded at his liquor habits and the White House staff was amazed at his work schedule, often staying up till 2 a.m working and expecting others to do the same.
A very interesting read which also details personalities between the famed men of the war time.
An excellent read in combination with the other book in the listing, The Stalin Affair. The British and the US had to deal with Stalin, who often tried their patience.
For the WWII historian, excellent reads!
