Shabby cottage chic charm is on full display on this vintage woven bedspread. A lovely trellis rose design graces the entire coverlet, accented by latticework with raised chenille button pops. Colorway is what I would call a coral rose. It's not true pink, orange or mauve to my eye.No tag, but attributed to Bates. As with most woven bedspreads, this one reverses to an interesting pattern as shown in img #9.Would be beautiful integrated into quilt designs or used as a decorative throw, if you didn't want to use as a bedspread/coverlet.
SIZE: Twin size. Approx 72"W x 100"L. Displayed on a twin bed in bright light to show detail and color. If you'd like to see it staged on a Full or Queen size bed, let us know.
FABRIC COMPOSITION: Vintage woven
CONDITION: Several shabby attributes as noted in collage img; 3 small repairs, few age marks & typical pulls to weave. Unless otherwise stated, our bedspreads are pre-loved, original vintage/antique, and at least 50 years old. All vintage linens show attributes such as small age spots, mends, pinholes & fabric separations, color variations, etc. Virtually all have will have a scent of some type, i.e. from storage, fabric detergents, etc.
