The chenille is wonderfully soft and cozy, perfect for those lazy Sunday mornings or getting ready for a special evening. I love imagining the original owner wrapping herself up in this after a luxurious bubble bath - it just has that old Hollywood glamour, doesn't it?
This sweet robe is a small petite size - whereas most 1940s era chenille bathrobes were quite long in length and seldom accommodated those of a more petite height. This robe measures about 45"L with 18"L kimono style sleeves - whereas most of the era were 54"-58"L. Thus, it is best for a petite person with small frame.
Note that while the original rope belt is present, there are no belt loops. Be aware of this so you don't inadvertently lose the belt tie.
