(Open kit; unsure if all embroidery thread is present)...Rare & ready to embroidered, this "Virtue" Sampler is a Paragon Needlecraft Valentine Museum Reproduction, Kit # 0609.From the package, "This is an adaptation of a delightful early 19th century sampler worked by Elizabeth Ellett. The original sampler made in 1820 and entitled "Virtue", is in the permanent collection of the Valentine Museum, Richmond, Va."
-Designed to fit a frame size of 17" x 23" inches. Frame not included.
-Kit contains: Stamped sampler on 100% Belgian Linen approx. 24" x 29", "Peri-Lusta" Filo embroidery thread and complete easy-to-follow instructions and diagram. Made in USA.
-Kit has been opened and repackaged in a clean Ziploc bag. Original pkg insert and instructions show age attributes such as wrinkling and folds. Linen has been pressed but never started or worked in any way.
