Hand embroidered in crewel with exquisite needlework is this whimsical representation of a bygone era in American history...called Penny Candy, this completed embroidery piece depicts an old-fashioned country store scene packed with goods for sale - and the sweetest little girl peeking over the sales counter at the store clerk.This was hand stitched from a Paragon Needlecraft kit, #0705, and was intended to fit a frame size of 16" x 20" (not included). Long ago it was taped to a 16" x 20" cardboard mat. It also includes the frame mat as seen in image #'s 9 & 10. The perimeter features some old tape and age marks, which are covered by the frame mat.
