Beautiful finished vintage "AMERICAN WILDLIFE" crewel embroidery piece, "Inspired by our new awareness of ecology in our environment." It showcases a variety of wild animals in a natural setting.Lovely embroidery work - imagine how long this took to complete. This piece should be stretched, as you can see some puckering around the dense areas of stitching. Minor age discoloration as seen final image.
Embroidered by hand from a rare Paragon Needlecraft Kit, #0418/02446x. Original design was by Carol & Don Henning. Measures about 22" x 20" inches.
