– one of the rarest Hofmann chenille fabrics we have
– this was their 8-point star quilt style design
– i’ve never had (or seen) another in this colorway
– beautiful, heavy plush raised chenille in a rich maroon
– 100% cotton soft lightweight groundcloth is rose colored, not white or beige as some photos may seem
– this is a piece of history as it includes original factory markings along an edge
– and has small factory overshot dye marks from all those years ago still present on the pc (final img)
– seldom seen seamed construction, also shown
– typical to all Hofmann’s i can guarantee there may be some small pinholes on the very thin groundcloth, which was often weighed down by the thick tufts of chenille
