Lovely so shabby pretty in pink cake frosting florals hooded chenille robe, handcrafted from a mid-1960s era spread. If the 1940s defined the perfect shade of mauve, it was the 1960s that produced the most dreamy shades of pink.
A very lightweight robe with skinny low texturized tufting, this will do well in a wider range of climates since it isn’t at all thick and heavy like so many chenilles. Now when I say shabby chic, I mean it, so you’ll want to pass if seeking perfect.
She has beautiful, gentle natural sunkissed color variations and various skips & knicks to the tufting which is seen in virtually all spreads of this type and era. I’ve shown samples in the collage img so you can get an idea.
This pretty robe reminds me of something Barbara Eden might have worn in the classic series I Dream of Jeannie 🙂
