Pink Poodle Rainbow Bridge Vintage Chenille Robe Ladies Bathrobe, Plus Size 1X

A very special, one of a kind handcrafted vintage chenille robe with a prominent pink poodle applique on the rear panel, sourced from an original 1950s bedspread & almost impossible to find anymore.

Our “Rainbow Bridge” robes symbolize the deep, timeless bond we share with our pets, with an emphasis on uplifting colors to highlight the joy they infuse into our lives for whatever time they are with us. We only design these robes every few years, and this one was years in the making.

The pink poodle on the rear panel is at the threshold of this life…and whatever lies beyond. The entire robe is in an ombre pastel yellow with white tufting. Part of the design process involves the selection of a high quality, original vintage chenille bedspread that helps to capture a special essence. The bedspread was then painstakingly lightened over many months in indirect, natural sunlight to create a soft glow.

On the rear panel, the poodle is strategically appliqued with her back paws situated on an arch of chenille, while she stands at the crossroads of this life & what lies beyond, symbolized by the columnar design just behind her shoulders. A sprinkling of joyful floral appliques scattered on the front panel represents her loving presence ever with you.
