Narrow shoulders, fitted silhouette make this vintage chenille robe a best fit on S, though it is tagged M. Go back to the glory days of the 1990s…If you adore the original “Nanny” style robes as worn by Fran Drescher in the fabulously funny sitcom, you will fall in love with this beauty. Traditional wedding cake design absolutely loaded with beautiful florals set on a ribbed texture pink chenille – did I mention how simply gorgeous the pink is?
Top quality, original Neiman’s tag still attached above size tag. NOTE: Has original belt, but no belt loops anywhere on the garment – so you’ll want to make sure you don’t accidentally lose the tie.
Some great history to this stunner: The RN# on the tag traces to Soft Goods, and devotees of Canyon Group may recall that the original founder Debra Maria Zomparelli & her dad started buying new chenille spreads from a Georgia company called Soft Goods, to design her unique creations. Eventually, “DMZ” (pulled from Debra’s initials) was formed.
In 1989, those original owners sold out to Jody and Don Chapman, who at that time updated the name to “Damze.” And the rest, as they say, is history. You can read more here: https://cottagedivine.com/canyon-chenille-history/

Great vintage condition with a few areas of missing puffs (final img), a light age mark to belt tie, and some pilling common to the fabric.
All chenille garments we offer are true vintage/antique, and will have wear commensurate with age and usage in their previous life. Examples include natural color variations, a missing tuft or two, an old repair, etc.
All are 100% cotton or a cotton blend (which will generally feel softer). We do not buy or sell anything that we would not display in our own homes or wear.
