Distressed. Dramatic. Divine. If you love shabby chic, this could be the chenille bathrobe for you…it is a super heavyweight vintage ladies robe that has been handcrafted from an original chenille bedspread in a showstopper radiant tufted pattern accented by burgundy wine scrollwork.

While this robe was not made by us, it was definitely handmade as is obvious by some of the details of craftsmanship, including: a sewn in loop for hanging, some original repairs, and side slash pockets in a coordinating light pink tone.

This is by far, the most heavily weighted luxury tufted robe we’ve ever had in our vast collection of chenille. While there are no tags, I believe the pattern is an original Retrac design from the mid 1940s era based on similar designs I have & because of the tonal mauve color. Definitely a best fit in cooler environments due to the weightiness of the fabric. A really unique garment that will surely keep you warm & toasty.
