Southern Belle Chenille Robe Designed from Shabby Cottage Style Vintage Chenille Bedspread Fabrics, M/L

“Southern Belle” vintage HOODED bathrobe, designed using original vintage chenille bedspread fabrics. The focal point is a gorgeous charming Southern Lady in a Victorian style dress, sourced from a scarce novelty bedspread from the 50s.

Since the rear panel is lightweight, I chose a crisp cotton medium weight chenille fabric with wide thick tufting for the front panels, also circa 1950s era. Custom patchwork belt tie is crafted entirely of handcut vintage chenille quilt squares. Inside upper neckline, you’ll find shabby little floral accents.

We specialize in shabby cottage chic designs, so when I say that, I mean it – you’ll notice natural distressing to this fabric that was deliberately incorporated, such as skipped needletufting & pulls which is inherent to the fabric itself. 🌼🌻🌼
