Seldom seen, this is a Bates branded vintage chenille bedspread covered in rows of adorable little pink rosebuds and the prettiest teal-green leaves. Sparkly shimmer lurex intersects the rows.

In contrast to Morgan Jones, Bates rosebud chenille bedspreads are almost never available. The hallmark of this design is that the rows are horizontally situated and set more widely apart on a heavier woven groundcloth than MJs often were.

There is what appears to be an interesting manufacturer flaw most visible on the reverse, of a wide horizontal line where the weave seems lighter than the rest of the spread (see final img). Softly rounded bottom corners. Approx 90″W x 100″L 🌷
