This is a fantastic example of antique chenille, and has been handtufted onto a thick muslin groundcloth, which has natural flecks and specks that offer a nice patina. Shown on a high twin bed. 100% cotton. Given the handmade nature of this piece, you may see natural tone variations to the basecloth and/or to the tufting.
